Selected Research

Large-Scale Assessment & NAEP

My research uses large-scale assessment and survey data to study measurement, assessment, and substantive questions in education. I have particular experience with NAEP, including complex sample designs, variance estimation, psychometric methods, and the analysis of assessment data.

Machine Learning & Computational Methods

I investigate how machine learning and emerging computational methods can complement established statistical and psychometric approaches. My work considers applications in education and psychology while emphasizing methodological rigor, interpretability, and connections to substantive research questions.
